I am an Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Postdoctoral Fellow in the Philosophy Department at the University of Alberta. My PhD in Philosophy is from McGill University (2017) and I received a MA (2011) and BA Honours (2010) from the University of Sheffield.
My main research interests are in philosophy of mind, phenomenology, and moral psychology. In my doctoral dissertation, I developed a new account of self-deception which links self-deception to a special kind of self-awareness. This work was supported by a Tomlinson Fellowship and a Norton Dissertation Fellowship. You can read about my research here and about my teaching experience here.
